Short CV: Konstantina Tsigkou holds a BSc in Chemistry (University of Patras, 2014), an MSc in Green Chemistry and Clean Technologies (University of Patras, 2016) and a PhD entitled «Development of an integrated waste management system in the context of the circular economy model for the valorization of used disposable nappies and food waste focusing on the production of biofuels and added-value products» (University of Patras, 2021). Concerning her training, she has participated in biotechnology and waste and wastewater treatment/valorization conferences while she has attended a seminar for laboratory accreditation in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 Standard. The waste and wastewater treatment and valorization via the anaerobic digestion process is her main research field. She has already worked on the development of a high-rate reactor for the treatment of olive mill wastewater, producing biogas. In her research interests also include the valorization of organic municipal wastes for biofuels and compost production.
